Re: 4th Form Geography Fieldwork in Greenwich
GCSE geographers will be undertaking fieldwork in Greenwich, on Friday 4th May, 2018.
Fieldwork is a compulsory part of the GCSE course and the work undertaken on the trip will contribute to the pupils’ overall exam grades. The pupils will have the support of Mrs Morrissey and myself, whilst studying how urban change can create social and economic opportunities. The trip will include a visit to the O2 Centre, the Crystal Museum and a return journey on the cable cars over the River Thames.
Pupils should bring a small amount of spending money to purchase lunch and refreshments at the O2 centre, alternatively they may bring a packed lunch. The majority of the day is cost free; however, there is a reduced charge for using the cable cars of £2 per pupil.
Pupils should meet at Cockfosters Underground Station at 9:20am and we aim to return by 3:15pm. Please return the permission slip below in an enclosed envelope with the £2 contribution by Friday 27th April, 2018.
