Re: 2nd Form Visits Day – Wednesday 27th March, 2019.
As you know, every academic year we take the valuable opportunity to inspire and broaden the children’s minds through excursions to some of London’s best sites and museums. For our second trip with the 2nd Form we will be visiting Natural History Museum on Wednesday, 27th March.
In this visit pupils will attend a session in which they will discover how tectonic plate interactions happen over different time scales, shaping landscapes, and how these processes can have profound effects on humans.
On the day, full school uniform must be worn, and pupils should bring a packed lunch. We will be leaving from Cockfosters station at 9.30 a.m. so please ensure your child is dropped off 20 minutes before this departure time and then be ready to collect them at 3.30 p.m. from the station. Pupils are advised to bring their mobile phones in order to contact you about the precise time of arrival at Cockfosters.
The contribution for this term’s school visits day is £5.00. Please can this be brought as cash to school and handed to Mr. Lowe or Mr. Saunders with the attached reply slip below by Monday 11th February.
