Dear Parents,

Re: ‘A’ Level, Study leave 2020

In readiness for the first of the ‘A’ Level summer exams (i.e. Core Pure Mathematics) which begin on Monday 11th May, study leave will begin from Monday, 4th May. However, I must stress that this is optional.

Some students will prefer to revise at home in a way which suits them best and where they can concentrate better without any distractions. They can also gain from saving the time spent travelling to and from school.  Others, however, feel the benefit of some external discipline and will therefore choose the option of coming here to study in a school environment. Regardless as to which option is chosen, students are welcome to come in at any time throughout this period in order to have further learning sessions with a teacher or to revise in the library or anywhere else at the school.

Whichever choice you make let us know so that we can ensure that library alongside with private study areas are properly allocated as well as to help the cook know how many students will require lunch.

Please tick the box that best applies to your child and return to me by Wednesday 29th April.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Beritsis (Director of Studies).
