21st February, 2017.

Dear Parents,

School Visit: First Form Visits Day to Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast

As part of St. John’s exciting and enriching Educational Visits Programme we will be visiting Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast on Wednesday, 22nd March, 2017. We hope that the children will relish the chance to be able to explore, learn and experience these two fascinating and stunningly located historical sites first-hand.

On the day the children should wear their greens Physical Education uniform (Girls please note that you must wear your tracksuit bottoms, not your netball skirt) and they must bring their blue winter coats. They will also need a packed lunch and you may wish to provide pocket money for a visit to the gift shop. We will be leaving from Cockfosters Station at 9.30 a.m. However, we advise that the pupils should arrive at the station no later than 9.10 a.m. Please arrange for your child to be collected promptly from Cockfosters Station upon our return at 3.30 p.m.

The price of the trip is £5. Please ensure your child brings this sum and the reply slip in an envelope to their form tutor by Wednesday, 1st March.

We are very much looking forward to this exciting visit. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at St. John’s.

Yours faithfully,

Miss Hall,

First Form Trip Co-ordinator.
