Dear Parents,

Re: Visits Day- Tuesday, 1st November 2016

Every academic year we take the valuable opportunity to inspire and broaden the children through excursions to some of London’s best sites and museums.  For our first trip with the First Form we will be visiting The Science Museum on Tuesday 1st November.

We will explore the museum, making special stops at some of the most recent exhibition and see a lovely show.  We will also have the opportunity to watch “Under the Sea” in 3D in the IMAX.

On the day, the children need to be wearing their full school uniform. They will also need a packed lunch and you may wish to provide pocket money for a visit to the gift shop. We will be leaving from Cockfosters station at 9.30 a.m. So please ensure your child is dropped off 15 minutes before this departure time and then be ready to collect them at 3.30 p.m. from the station. Students are advised to bring their mobile phones in order to contact you about the precise time of arrival at Cockfosters.

The price of the trip is £15. Please ensure your child brings this sum in cash or cheque and the reply slip in an envelope to their form teacher as soon as possible.

We are very much looking forward to this exciting visit and hope the children will enjoy it as well. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s form teacher at the school.

Yours faithfully,

Mr H O’Neill,

First Form Tutor,

(Trip coordinator).
