St. John’s Senior School is top of the table!

Following Thursday’s GCSE results St John’s Senior School is delighted that its pupils’ academic achievements continue to be exemplary.

St John's Prep and Senior School DoE SchoolAs a result, their examination performance has consistently given the school a place at the top of the Enfield schools league tables – and this year has been no exception.

The school’s GCSE results produced a 100% pass rate with all pupils gaining the government requirement of passes in five or more subjects at grades A*- C, including English and Maths.

In fact, the school is particularly proud that our pupils gained well above this number and that 84% of their grades were A* – B.

A special mention goes to Dawn Ubwane and Harry Clynch who both achieved nine GCSE’s, all with straight A* grades. Their names will be placed on the School’s Honours Board for Academic Excellence, 2015.

Also deserving of mention are: Harry Christophorou, Alexander Evans, Aliraza Syed, Sophia Constantinou, Alfie Sheldon, Kanishk Ganga and Druhv Shah. These boys and girls gained A* -A grades in all their subjects.

  • Absolute maximum of 19 pupils per class.
  • St John’s Senior School hosts the largest official football tournament in Enfield/Middlesex to find representatives for the borough who then go on to the regional & national tournaments to compete for those 11 & under. These tournaments can involve up to 32 Enfield schools. St. John’s hosts a total of 7 such tournaments a year, 2 of which are for girls.
