Dear Parents,

RE:     VISITS DAY-  5th MARCH 2020

JACK THE RIPPER TOUR AND THE WALLACE COLLECTION

This term, on Visits Day, the Lower Sixth students will be taken to the Jack the Ripper Tour and the Wallace Collection in London. The visit will take place on Thursday, 5th March.

On the day, our students are asked to meet at 8:45 a.m. at Cockfosters, and please ensure that they have a valid Oyster card. They will be required to dress smartly and warmly to suit both the formal nature of the sixth form uniform at St. John’s and the potential inclement weather on the day.

A guided tour around the Jack the Ripper murder sites is arranged for the morning after which the students will have lunch. After lunch, they will visit the Wallace Collection where they will be given a guided tour after which they will be allowed some more time to explore the collection in small groups.

Students will have a chance to buy lunch in town, or they can bring a packed lunch if they wish.

Students can return to Cockfosters with their teachers after the visit or stay to central London if they wish.

We look forward to this exciting visit, which we trust the students will enjoy. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Nika & Mr. Chen

Form Teachers.
