St. John’s U14s knockout The Latymer School from the County Cup. Well done boys!

In a County Cup match today, St. John’s U14s faced off against The Latymer School. The first half was closely contested, with both teams displaying their skills, yet neither managed to break the deadlock.

In the second half, a moment of misfortune led to us losing possession, allowing our opponents to capitalize with a swift counter-attack and secure a goal. Despite this setback, our team maintained their focus and took control of the game.

An equalizer came from a well-placed cross, resulting in an own goal. This turn of events spurred our team on, injecting renewed determination into their play. A coordinated effort down the left side by Noah and Sam culminated in a powerful left-footed strike by Sam, ultimately clinching the victory.
