The Life Long Ago fossil dig workshop brought prehistoric life to St. John’s Prep. In large sandboxes, the children located and identified fossils from some of the most iconic dinosaurs of the past. Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and a few other surprises were all thrown in. The children discovered when each dinosaur lived, where they came from, what they ate and much more. Afterwards, expert dinosaur handlers introduced the children to realistic dinosaur hatchlings whilst explaining about their family, diet, habitat and what the era was like millions of years ago.
