Super League Netball – Copperbox

Posted: 10th May 2024

On the evening of Friday 10th May, netballers from our 2nd to 5th Forms travelled to the Copper Box Arena at the Olympic Park to watch London Pulse play against Surrey Storm in their penultimate game of the Netball Super League.
The girls were all impressed with the quality of netball on display from both teams and the excitement of the goals going in from end to end was evident with our cheers and those across the entire arena! St John’s were supporting the home team, London Pulse who emerged victorious with a final score of 58-52.

These Super League teams consist of some of the world’s top netball players, and we had the opportunity to interact with some of the London Pulse team after the game, including England International players Jade Clarke and Olivia Tchine.
Adding to the excitement, two of our own Netball Scholars, Ava and Zara went onto the court at half time to be presented to the crowd as the U15 London Pulse Academy Squad.

The trip was enjoyed by everyone, and we all look forward to our next visit to the Copper Box Arena!
