St. John’s Senior Enfield Celebrate Silver Triumph at U16 National Netball Finals
St. John’s Senior School in Enfield, proudly celebrates the U16 Netball team’s outstanding achievement as national silver medallists at the Sisters n Sport National Netball Trophy Final Four, held at Loughborough University.
The finals weekend was a memorable one for the team, marked by fierce competition, inspirational performances, and a deep sense of pride in wearing the St. John’s colours on a national stage.
A Semi-Final to Remember
In the semi-final against Queen Ethelburga’s, the St. John’s U16 team delivered a brilliant performance, winning 18–13 and securing their place in the final. The match was a masterclass in tactical play, focus, and resilience:

Courage and Class in the Final
The final saw St. John’s take on a strong Plymouth College side. Despite a valiant effort and moments of brilliance, the team fell just short, finishing 12–16. An unfortunate injury in the third quarter disrupted momentum, but the girls fought bravely to the end.

Beyond the netball, the girls enjoyed a well-earned evening of relaxation at the university hotel spa and a three-course dinner, bonding as a team before the big day.
