From the outset, the team played with a level of “big game” energy that rattled the opposition. The girls settled into their rhythm quickly, displaying impressive court awareness and some truly fluid passages of play. As the match progressed into the final two quarters, the defensive unit remained impenetrable. The communication between Siena, Christiana, Emel, Mahi, Mira, Lottie, Lily, and Harley was the backbone of the win, ensuring that Edmonton County struggled to find any space within the shooting circle.
