St. John’s Prep and Senior School is proud to announce its highly anticipated summer production of The Wiz, taking place on Thursday, 10th July 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wyllyotts Theatre and Cinema. This vibrant reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz blends soulful music, bold storytelling, and dazzling dance to create a spectacular celebration of courage, friendship, and the power of self-belief.
This year’s show is a special collaboration between the Prep and Senior schools, showcasing the incredible talents of pupils across all year groups. The Wiz promises to be a joyful and inclusive production full of colour and creativity.
With toe-tapping rhythms, dynamic choreography, and striking visuals, audiences will be transported down the Yellow Brick Road in a whirlwind of energy and emotion. The school’s dedicated staff and creative team have worked tirelessly to guide and inspire the students, who have embraced the process with enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride.
