Though we do not facilitate open days, we offer individual tours of our senior school throughout the academic year during the school day. If you are interested in visiting us for a tour, please complete the registration form and the registrar will be in touch.
Stage 1 – Registration

Once completed the application form will be processed and you will be contacted by the Registrar.
Stage 2 – Visit St. John’s Prep and Senior School
Families are warmly invited to visit the school via appointment. The Registrar will contact you to make an individual appointment during term time.
We will then place your child’s name on our entry list which will ensure that they will be considered as a candidate to St. John’s Prep and Senior School.
Stage 3 – Entrance Assessment
Prep School – All applicants are invited to meet the Principal for a tour in the first instance. This is followed by an assessment should you wish to proceed to the next stage of the process and have paid the non-refundable registration fee (£180 inc VAT).
For in-year admissions, if a place is available we will invite your child for an assessment. Following a successful assessment, you will be invited to a meeting with the Principal and for a tour of the school. Following this visit, if you wish to proceed to the next stage, we ask for the non-refundable registration fee (£180 inc VAT).
Senior School – All applicants are invited to sit our entrance test in October. Those that are successful will be invited back for an interview with the headmaster followed by a tour of the school.
Stage 4 – The Offer
Successful candidates will be offered a place and will be asked to secure the place with a non-refundable acceptance deposit of £600 inclusive of VAT at current rate of 20%
