St. John’s U15 Girls continue incredible week with ESFA National Cup win vs. Grange Academy.
The U15 football girls made it through the first round of the ESFA National Football Cup. This is the first year the competition has been introduced and the St. John’s girls are keen to push for the title of National Champions.
Some strong defensive play from St. John’s centre back E. Deine and confident goal keeping from T. Akindolire resulted in the opposition having minimal shots at goal. Aggressive play, and great distribution from the mid-fielders saw St. John’s applied pressure to the Grange Academy defence and soon this proved too much for them to contend with, as centre forward A. Patterson netted two brilliant goals in the second half to seal the victory 2-0. Well done girls!
