St. John’s win the Tottenham Hotspur under 15s competition.
Winning the first game 16-0 against Kedleston B was quite a dominant start, and the team maintained a strong performance throughout the tournament.
The 8-1 win against Bishop B and the 4-1 victory against Oasis further demonstrated the team’s goal-scoring capabilities. Even when resting players, St John’s managed to secure a 4-0 win against Team 7. The 11-0 win against Kedleston A in the last group match was another convincing victory.
Despite a 3-2 loss against Bishop A in the group stage, St John’s bounced back in the semi-final with a comfortable 2-0 win against Oasis. The final against Bishop A was a chance for revenge, and the team succeeded by scoring three goals and finishing the game comfortably.
The ability of St John’s moving the ball so quickly against Bishop A’s big, strong, and physical players was extremely impressive.
Overall, it was a great tournament for St John’s allowing our players to showcase their skill, determination, and ability to overcome challenges. Well done boys.
