St. John’s winning on all fronts!
Today St. John’s made a good start to the County Cup campaign against Ashmole Academy. St. John’s took control early on and after several chances Sebastian scored two goals in quick succession. A sublime move started by Noah ended in Riaz scoring a great team goal. St. John’s were 3 – 0 at half time and an easy team talk. The second half was an opportunity to play the bench and they performed well. Seb got his hatrick and Zach scored to make it 5 – 0. This team has potential this season with sustained hard work.
A belated congratulations to our U12s who kicked off their ESFA National Cup campaign with a commanding 14-0 win over St. Aloysius. The team stormed to a 3-0 lead in the first two minutes, with Vincent completing a hat-trick inside 11 minutes.
By halftime, the score was 5-0, with goals from Jaymin, Morakinyo, and Buddy. In the second half, Lennox added a powerful strike from the edge of the box, capping a dominant performance.
Finally congratulations to our U13’s who beat Northbridge House in the ESFA National Cup with a dominant 11 – 0 display. Well done to all the pupils!
